RajCop Citizen App Launched for Women’s Safety
On March 8, 2025(International Women’s Day), the Rajasthan police urged women in the state to download and use the RajCop Citizen App for their safety. This app helps them to connect with the police immediately in times of emergencies.
According to the Director General of Police, Mr. Utkal Ranjan Sahu, the feature “Need Help” in the app is introduced by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on December 14, 2025. Till now almost 1,87,000 people have used this feature. This app has been downloaded by almost 1.83 million people.
To promote this app the Rajasthan police has been visiting schools, colleges, and coaching institutes. ASI Sunita Sharma has also introduced the tagline of the app which is “If You Have The App, You Are Safe”
Government’s Efforts for Women’s Safety
Under the supervision of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the government is taking strict actions to protect Women. They have introduced fast-track courts, made the law more strict, and set up a 24-hour available helpline. There are night police portals, and women’s police stations to improve safety. They also install CCTV Cameras on the roads.
“Need Help” Feature Helps Women
This feature is introduced by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on December 14, 2025. Mr. Hamant Priyadarshi said that this “Need Help” feature has helped over 13,600 people and most of the cases have been solved till now.
