Ambedkar DBT Voucher Yojana Form Apply: Rs 2,000 Per Month For Students

Are you a student, staying in a different city and using rented accommodation, to pursue education? The Rajasthan government has decided to provide financial support through the Ambedkar DBT Voucher Yojana scheme to students who are studying in government colleges while using rented accommodation. The scheme is designed for the student to help them cover their monthly expenses like electricity bills or utility bills. The last date to avail of this scheme is 30 November 2024.  Students who want to apply for the scheme must apply before the deadline. The total Beneficiaries will be 5500 who will be selected on the criteria.

What is Ambedkar DBT Voucher Yojana?

The Ambedkar DBT Voucher Yojana was launched by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department of Rajasthan. The main purpose of this scheme was to provide support to the students of Rajasthan who are living away from their homes. This scheme will provide Rs 2000 to each selected student to help them cover their expenses.

Eligibility criteria and conditions to apply

  • Students who belong to SC, ST, OBC, SBC, EWS, and minority categories of Rajasthan will benefit from this offer under the Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme.
  • Applicant must be a resident of Rajasthan state.
  • The student’s parent’s annual income should not exceed Rs 2 lakh and 50 thousand (For  SC, ST, SBC), Rs 1 lakh and 50 thousand(For OBC), and Rs 1 Lakh (For EWS).
  • Those students who are studying in the district headquarters but living with their parents are not eligible for this offer.

How to Apply?

  • Students can apply for this scheme online by using their e-Mitra portal or SSO ID.
  • Firstly, login to your SSO ID. If you don’t have an SSO ID you can register on the portal by clicking on the registeration option given on the main page of the website.
  • After logging in to your SSO Portal, nevigate to the SJMS DCR (Social Justice and Empowerment Department) section on the homepage.
  • Now select the Ambedkar DBT Voucher Yojana scheme and fill in all the required information(name, caste, age).
  • Now upload all the required document like residence certificate, caste certificate, income certificate, Aadhar card, bank details, and last year’s mark sheet.(Ensure that documents are scanned properly).
  • After providing all the necessary information and documents click on the “Submit” button.
  • You will be given a receipt number by which you can track the status of your application.

If you are enable to apply online, you can visit nearby e-Mitra service center to submit your Application. You will need to attach above listed documents with the application.
